Appreciate what you shared here. I fear AI could help people avoid conflict or avoid thinking or building connection with other people. Maybe even unknowingly so too.
This made me smile. I was talking this morning with Sunil Malhotra, and reflecting that, amongst other things, AI is Western Technology parsing largely Western data with its inbuilt biases. We wondered where the information held in other forms, such as oral traditions and other inconvenient information featured, that we are getting excited about a subset of information, and, in that space, merely raising the bars of mediocrity. So I thought I'd be first with the mediocrity line and then, there you were :-)
I'll probably do the piece anyway.
And I've bitten the bullet - other than here, I'm on no social media. Quite refreshing really......
Thanks Johnnie, this resonates a lot. We act as if the pomp is more important than the circumstance. I delivered some facilitation training recently and some of those particpating fed back how much they valued that I had 'met them where they were at' and taken the time to hear people's contributions and respond rather than rushing forward to hear the next comment. Two pretty basic skills in my mind but indicative maybe of a lack of consideration for circumstance in most meetings/sessions?

Thank you, Richard. Raising your smile may be as close to a KPI as I want to get!

Context is everything and I think being present to what's in front of us is a better starting point than our preset plans!
